All Inclusive
Our nursery is now an All Inclusive nursery, meaning that we provide all meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and cows milk for your convenience. Our meals and snacks are sourced locally and prepared and cooked freshly by our on-site nursery Chef.

Settling in Sessions
Our nursery offers settling in sessions. Parents can bring their child for a couple of hours first, gradually introducing the child to a new environment. Settling in sessions are aimed at helping your child to adapt to their new surroundings and become more familiar with the staff and other children.
Eco Schools
Eco Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is designed to encourage action on sustainable development education issues. Our children love getting involved in their Eco Schools projects and learning about how to help protect the environment.
Physical Development
Physical Development Stars is a programme that supports children’s movement for a minimum of three hours per day in line with government guidelines. Our practitioners look at ways everyday routines and activities can be adapted to encourage fine and gross motor physical development in a fun way, limiting the time that children are sitting down.

Fundraising Activities
Taking part in fundraising activities helps children to learn about others that are less fortunate than themselves and understand how we can help them. Fundraising events are good fun and are a great way to get children, families and communities together. We are currently fundraising for Fairshare.
E-Learning Journals
E-Learning Journals allow you to see your child’s activities at nursery with the click of a button. Staff upload images and notes about your child's participation in activities at nursery for you to access wherever you are. Our nursery tablets offer exciting and stimulating learning experiences tailored to challenge and engage little ones.

Community Outings
Our nursery enjoys great ties with our local community and we are often out and about visiting local sights and getting involved in events. We have built up a link with our local care home, and the children enjoy visiting to sing to the older generation.
Christmas Nativity Show
We celebrate Christmas by putting on a wonderful Christmas show for friends and family each year. There's always much excitement in preparing for the show as we learn songs and organise our special dress ups.
Special Festivals
Our nursery encourages children to celebrate festivals throughout the year. This is one of the best ways for children to learn about different religions and cultures.

Parent communication
In recognition that education begins in the home, we are fully committed to a partnership approach with parents. Parents are kept up to date with monthly newsletters, parent focus groups and parent’s evenings. Parents are also able to keep up to date with activities going on in the nursery by following our group social media accounts; Holyrood Facebook and Holyrood Twitter.
Graduation
We celebrate the big move to primary school with a special graduation ceremony each year—caps, gowns, the works!

Delivery Acceptance
We accept your courier deliveries to make things that little bit easier for busy mums and dads.
